This lecture will kick off an Agatha Christie day at Osher: a morning lecture followed by an afternoon Theater World production of A Double Dose of Christie Mysteries! Dame Agatha is the best-selling novelist of all time; her books have sold more than a billion copies in the English language and a billion more in translation. In addition to a survey of her writing, we will examine the influences on her writing from her life, her travels, and her mysterious disappearance that shocked the world.
Speaker Bio
As a lifelong mystery reader, Kim Keeline found it a natural transition to being a mystery writer herself and began researching the great writers in her field. She is active in the mystery organization Sisters in Crime and has organized two major mystery conventions in San Diego. She has a PhD in English Literature from the University of Southern California.
