Beyond Symptoms: How Whole-Person Health Is Transforming Modern Medicine

Speaker Ryan Bradley
Coordinator James LaCombe
What if health care focused not only on disease, but on the interconnected systems that shape resilience, recovery and well-being? This lecture will explore the rapidly evolving science of wholeperson health, integrating biological, behavioral, social and environmental dimensions into a cohesive framework for clinical care. Drawing on translational research from UC San Diego’s REACH Center, Dr. Bradley will discuss multi-system assessment tools, integrative treatment strategies, and emerging evidence that bridges conventional and complementary medicine. This presentation offers a forward-looking view of how whole-person models can improve outcomes and redefine the practice of medicine.
