March brings new opportunities to strengthen workplace safety and build momentum for the months ahead. As we move into the spring season, we remain committed to delivering expert-led training, strengthening hazard recognition skills, and supporting safety professionals across our region.

This month also highlights important safety observances, including National Ladder Safety Month and National Safety Stand-Down planning efforts leading into the spring construction season. These initiatives serve as strong reminders of the importance of proactive training, compliance, and continuous improvement in preventing workplace injuries.

National Ladder Safety Month

The statistics surrounding ladder accidents are truly staggering: half a million treated injuries each year, more than 22,000 annual workplace accidents, and hundreds of deaths. Virtually all of which could have been prevented by following a few ladder safety rules.

Without awareness of proper ladder use, we will continue to see far too many debilitating and possibly fatal accidents. Taking place every March, National Ladder Safety Month is the only movement dedicated to promoting ladder safety at home and in the workplace.

With your support, we can promote ladder safety and reduce ladder-related incidents each year.

Reminder: Register for the 2026 Pacific Coast Safety Fest

This event is a safety and health training opportunity offering classes on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The purpose of this training is to raise awareness concerning pertinent safety and health hazards and best work practices in the area where the training is being offered.
